I just got my new 700 delivered yesterday morning and I am pleased with it. It doen'st have all of the styles or voices my Tyros 5 has, but it has more than enough. The sound is very nice and the speakers are built-in, so there is no need to worry about a bunch of cable or wires Again, for me, the price is right, and the technology is up-to-date. Before you buy, take your time and look at all of the other options as I did. I think you will find that these newer Yamaha PSR SX series keyboards are a wonderful choice. This a Wonderful Key Board for an advanced enthusiast or a Professional Starting out. The key board features are as billed and there is nothing I can fault it for. The price point is amazing and I think the features are almost the same as a PSXR900 at a very much lower price. I had a great TECHNICS Key board that lasted 2 decades, It had better tonal quality "back in the day" than a Yamaha. Yamaha has now bridged the gap. I would recommend it to anyone who is a serious key board player..

First of all, full marks to Best Global Seller Store for delivering 2 days in advance ! Really came as a surprise. The packaging was also good, though a little dirty. However, there was no damage on the box and the packing inside was also in shape when I opened. It's too early to draw conclusions but initial impressions are great. The most relieving factor is that it is very easy to operate. The touch screen and the user interface make it a breeze to navigate through the tons of features. I will write a detailed review after I have used it for a couple of months. As of now I don't find any negatives. The tones are great. Even the guitar tones amazed me by the level of sampling. I am exploring everything that the keyboard has. Its fun..

Some notes are softer when pressing certain keys on a particular sound. Instructions are not detailed enough especially for those new to arranger type keyboards. Seems that instructions are designed for those who already know what buttons do what. Instructions are not quite entry level friendly. Touch screen in awesome. To better understand how all the buttons work on higher end keyboards, better to learn on very low budget, almost toy-like keyboards where the explanation of the buttons are a lot easier to understand. As with many keyboards, even higher end ones, plugging into an external speaker system produces better sounds than what comes directly out of the built in speakers. Aloha from Hawaii..

This is a amazing keyboard for people like me that performs at church cell groups and the isn't anyone else to play with.. I love fact that I can connect my mic directly to the keyboard and I can make my own styles to play along with!! I LOVE IT.

Like the sound and the wealth of canned and customizable backing accompaniments. Wish the headphone input were at the front, like on it's big cousins - the SX700 and the SX900. Need a long wire for your headphones to use the rear input. I would much rather have purchased either of the two - more expensive - big cousins, but I got fed up waiting for them to be brought back to market. So I settled for this cheaper one. Having said that, it IS worth every penny ($545.00). I could trade it in in the future when the others are more readily available - MAYBE. -- IF my wife lets me..

The product is good but the back of this product is wooden instead of metal or fibre and hence disappointed. Yamaha is already building it cheap by manufacturing it in Indonesia but such compromise is being made for INR. 60000 + priced product. During setup I was looking for port at the keyboard's back to strap it onto the stand which I purchased separately then when I didn't find port for it as most standard keyboards have, I noticed wooden back and it never clear as to why it was missing. I purchased this for personal use for hobby but people hoping to use this for gigs/commercial use will be very disappointed as it affects the life of keyboard. Yamaha could have done better..
